Website Design Costs

The following price menu is provided as a guideline to help you estimate the cost of having your new custom website built as well as the cost of maintaining it after it is built. Please contact us for a more specific quote for your custom project.

Website Design Costs – A La Carte Menu

5-Page Website Package Example: “Home” page, “Blog/News” page, “Contact” page, Two “Landing” or “Content” pages that can be SEO optimized to promote main products or services: $599
INCLUDES:

  • Responsive design with a mobile-first emphasis.
  • Large featured image (or slider with up to 3 rotating photos) on home/landing pages.
  • Three smaller photos in main body/text area of home/landing pages.
  • Call-To-Action Text / Button*
  • SEO driven text for each landing/content page (It is generally recommended to have a minimum of 300 words of content relevant to the key words or phrases that are being targeted for search engine results).
  • Up to three footer widgets

Creation of Each Additional Landing/Content Page: $199
Creation of additional landing/content pages for the purpose of being found by search engines for the various products and services offered. For instance, if you are in the music lessons business, a landing page can be created for each type of lesson (guitar lessons, piano lessons, voice lessons, etc.) that you would like to be found for in search engine results.

INCLUDES:

Installation of SSL Security Certificate: $60

(Requires purchase of SSL Security Certificate, usually $39.99 – $79.99 depending on where purchased).
An SSL Security Certificate is what allows Google and other search engines to display the padlock icon and avoid the “Not secure” warning that would otherwise be shown to potential visitors to your site.
This service installs your new certificate via the cPanel of your hosting account and includes installation of the “Really Simple SSL” and “Really Simple SSL Pro” plug-ins on your site to test and activate your SSL.

E-Commerce Package: $299

INCLUDES:

  • Installation and set-up of the popular WooCommerce E-Commerce plug-in (for products for sale in USA),  which will create your store pages, shopping cart, and checkout page. Additional plug-ins and extensions [shipping, analytics, automated email marketing, etc.], purchased as desired by client at prices published on the WooCommerce website and set-up at hourly rates listed below.
  • Creation of “Privacy Policy” and “Terms & Conditions” pages.
  • Set up of your first three store items (Includes set-up of item name, description, SKU, pricing, taxes, descriptions, and up to 3 photos per store item*)

SEO Services: See hourly rates below

  • Installation and set up of the popular “Yoast SEO” plug-in (by Team Yoast) and initial SEO service based on chosen keywords/key phrases for each page.
  • Installation and set up of the popular “Google XML Sitemaps” plug-in (by Arne Brachhold), creation and submission of sitemaps to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.
  • Addition of your site (“property”) to Google Search Console for purpose of improving site presence on Google and other search engines. Fresh submission of recently updated/optimized pages to Google to ensure quickest indexing of most recent version of your website.

Copy-Writing Services: 12 cents per word (300 word minimum X $.12 per word = minimum charge of $36)

  • Copy writing service of 300+ words per page of SEO driven content in alignment with chosen keywords/key phrases

We provide basic in-house digital graphic design services as a convenience for our web design clients. However, our clients are free to provide us with publish-ready artwork or photos for use in their web design projects if they so choose. It’s up to you – we make it easy!

WordPress Training: See hourly rates below

Want to learn how to use WordPress more efficiently so that you don’t have to hire us every time you want to make an update? We provide private over-the-phone WordPress training! That way you can learn to do your own routine updates and save your calls to us for the bigger stuff.

*Listed prices assume client-supplied artwork, photos, and text. In-house graphic design and copy-writing services are available at prices listed below if you would like us to create/supply artwork, photos, and text. Also, additional banners, blocks, widgets, etc., above the amount included in the packages listed above can be added at the hourly rates below.

 Hourly Fee for Additional Services:

A La Carte: $60 per hour

2-Hour Monthly Retainer Service: $89 ($44.50 per hour – Minimum of 2 hours per month for 1 year contract. Additional hours per month over 2 hour minimum also billed at discounted rate of $44.50 per hour)

4-Hour Monthly Retainer Service: $119 ($29.75 per hour – Minimum of 4 hours per month for 1 year contract. Additional hours per month over 4 hour minimum also billed at discounted rate of $29.75 per hour)
